“Dystany L. in the East Spokane location is an amazing trainer! She knows what types of training I need for the different goals I have. She has shown me many effective routines and new techniques every time I have a training session with her. She is very knowledgeable about the DotFit products and general nutrition. Her coaching has changed my lifestyle in many ways. Her positive attitude and genuine concern for my level of fitness and desire to help me reach my goals is very motivational and what makes my training experiences something I truly look forward to! Travis was also very knowledgeable about nutrition, muscle building, fat burning and answered all of my questions about my diet and what direction I should take in regards to a more effective weight loss plan and goal setting. I am very happy with every interaction I have with the staff in the East Spokane location.”

“I am a 57 year old mom/GRANDMA (G) who was enjoying her grand kids by just watching them play and sitting on the couch, when they were not at my house I just sat on the couch. My daughter joined the gym and started dropping weight, for Christmas she gave me a membership for this gym and at first I thought oh crap! Then I went for the first time and met her personal trainer Matt Frye who helped me come up with a work out plan, not only did he customize my plan for my age and mobility but he keeps an eye on me, well everyone in the gym. I then started using him also for personal training and it has only been less than 6 months and he has helped me so much with mobility, meal planning, life style changes and all these new exercises, that I have lost weight!! and INCHES!! Matt is so focused on each person that he trains that he knows that he can push you to your full extent and maybe a little further. Matt I believe truly cares individually about each and every one of his clients, if I am working out and he is training some one else he still notices, when finished he will come over let me know then show me how to do it correctly (AGAIN). During training I am the most annoying person I ask him to show me over and over again then I will try. He really takes in to count my age and disabilities with my knees, nothing serious but they hurt from not being used enough lol. Matt is my superhero! I am now working out 6 days a week and have joined my very first challenge which includes boot camps, group classes and a MY-ZONE to record my movement. Never did I think that I would consider me- time being at the gym but when you walk in there you feel the energy. When you here him laugh you will smile, I believe that he is worth his weight in gold. To you Matt I say thank you so much for making me a better grandma, mom, person. I truly do enjoy our work outs even if I'm sore for a couple of day. Thank you Matt Frey”

“We have been a member of a gym at the Northside Spokane location for over 15 years. When MUV Fitness took over the location a few years ago they made immediate improvements! The facility and equipment are top notch! The trainers and personnel are friendly and really care, have a shared level of expertise and work together to achieve goals. We appreciate that when something is broken they Northside location gets right on it! We love the hot tub, steam room and boot camps! I personally have benefited from the expertise and care of my trainer Lynne as well as the other trainers. Lynne and others are knowledgeable in dealing with individual physiques, injuries and limitations as well As competitive fitness goals. This is my first time doing a fitness challenge and I love it. It is so worth the investment. Down 10 lbs, countless inches and building strength. Thank you Lynne, team Northside and Muv Fitness! Go Team!”

“For me it is unbelievable to think that I have not only run a 5k, I have run 9 of them. I am running with a group for fun and will begin training for my first half marathon that I am running in May. I have made a magical transformation from fat to thin to strong. At 313 pounds who would have ever thought I would be in a commercial for a gym, or that I was going to be a featured runner for the Windermere Half Marathon. I have learned so much from being a part of MUV and these challenges. I feel the most important is that I used to think of weight loss as a destination, once I lost all the weight then I would be where I was and that would be it. This isn't a destination for me, it's a journey. My body is always changing and if I want to continue to be strong and healthy I have to continue on this journey.”

You go through this with a newfound sense of family that won't let family fail. The family that has become of this has been there to celebrate the highs and encourage through the lows. “I walked into MUV and met Chanze. After discussing what my goals and needs were she told me exactly what it would take to lose the weight I wanted to in real numbers. Calories in- calories out = weight lost. I realized that I could not continue to live my life the same way and expect different results. “I told my self that I'm going to lose 20Lbs and get down to 200 lbs. Boy was I shocked at the weigh In hen I tipped the scales at 240 lbs. Laura then told me that if I wanted to succeed at this, I needed to change my diet. I started eating right and continued my work out regiment. Now the pounds are coming off again. I'm close to hitting my 20 lb goal and may exceed it. This challenge has shown me how to live a healthy lifestyle. I'm looking forward to the next, so I can accomplish my original goal of getting to 200lbs. Who knows I may be down to 200 by the time the next challenge starts and have to find a new goal.”

“I enjoyed being introduced to new exercises that could easily be modified and used at home, should you not be able to make it into the Gym. Also, utilize the knowledge if on vacation and you don't have access to a Gym! Of course, all other gym classes are available too, in case like me, you need some variety!”

“Before my weight loss began I weighed at 300 lbs. and was just diagnosed with Diabetes. I began watching my carb intake and cutting back on diet sodas and lost a few pounds. I than decided to have weight lost surgery and it help me a lot. I knew I had to do something else in order to keep the weight coming off and tone up, so I went to MUV Fitness. I wanted to start building muscle and toning. The challenge has help me to do that and I have gained strength & along with that I have lost weight and body fat. It has also gave me more confidence in myself and I have proved to myself that even though it is hard and my muscles hurt I can do it. With the help of Milady I will continue to build muscle and tone.”

“I began to recognize I could be alone in my battle or allow others to help me to succeed. MUV challenge is really about giving you the encouragement and support to get to where you need to be to succeed. It allows you to see we are all at different levels of fitness and trying to be the best we can be. So you may look at this challenges picture and not see much physical changes in the before and after shots, but if you look close enough you will see it in my eyes. The next challenge you will be able to see it in my eyes and my body. Thanks for helping me to get my head back in the game.”

“I started by walking and then water aerobics. As I lost weight, I tried new exercises. Each step and each new exercise increased my self-confidence. I began to believe that I could do this. I finally worked up the courage to ask for help. I started working with Carey in 2013 and she helped me learn just how strong I really am. She taught me how to exercise correctly and how to push myself and believe in myself. This challenge has done the same. It has kept me on track and focused. The weigh-ins and seminars have really helped keep me accountable. The best part of this entire experience is the relationships that I have made. Having other people here to lean on, to support me, and push me has made this such a great experience!”
