Phase 1 Reopening at MÜV Fitness

July Update:

Upon reopening, there will be new health and safety protocols in place at each MÜV Fitness location. Please see below for a breakdown of steps MÜV employees and members will need to take when inside the club. Additional precautions may be added depending on government suggestions and activity.

  • Members with potential symptoms are asked to stay home.
  • Face masks are required while in the facility.
  • Select pieces of equipment will be decommissioned to help maintain social distancing.
  • Members are required to maintain 6 feet of social distancing while in the facility. Employees will be circulating to help clean and remind everyone to keep their distance.
  • Members will be expected to clean their equipment before & after use, using the cleaning stations positioned throughout the clubs.
  • Members will be required to bring their own small equipment for individual use. I.E. mats, foam rollers, basketballs, ect. These items will not be available at the club for the time being.
  • Sauna, steam rooms, tanning beds, hydro beds, and kids zone are not available at this time.
  • Swimming pool and hot tub will be closed.
  • Basketball and racquetball courts will be available for use, but not for organized play.
  • Showers and locker rooms will not be available for use. Please come ready to workout. Bathrooms and sinks will still be available.
  • Group Fitness will be brought back slowly in limited capacity. At this time, full services will not be available. Virtual classes will still be offered.
  • Drinking fountains will be unavailable, but water bottle fillers are operational. Please bring you own bottle.
  • Signage at the club exterior and throughout the club’s interior will help remind members and our team members of important safety protocols

MUV FITNESS PHASE 1 COVID-19 REOPENING FAQs

When my local club opens, when will billing start again?

  • Depending on the date that your club opens and the date you were billed, your first bill date will vary depending on the day of the month you are billed. You may receive a prorated credit, or your first bill date may be in the following month. Please check with your club for details.
    • All late fees waived on any past due balances accrued before closure
    • All annual fees for April-July will be billed in August
  • Kids Zone billing will not begin until it opens for use
  • Tribe (or Explosion) will not begin billing until it opens for use
  • If you are not comfortable coming back to the gym at this time, we are offering complimentary freeze options. Please reach out to your club to obtain form.

What are you doing to keep the gym clean?

  • There are several new protocols in place to help maintain the safety of our members and team members, such as:
    • Face masks are strongly recommended while in the facility.
    • Members are required to wipe down equipment before and after use.
    • Select pieces of equipment will be decommissioned to help maintain social distancing.
    • Members are required to maintain 6 feet of social distancing while in the facility. Employees will be circulating to help clean and remind everyone to keep their distance.
    • Increased signage at the club exterior and throughout the club’s interior to remind members and our team members of important safety protocols.

Is there a limit to the club occupancy?

  • We will be limiting the club to 50% occupancy. At this time there is not an online system to check for current occupancy numbers. We recommend coming at off peak times (between 5pm and 8pm) to avoid crowds.

Spokane Locations

When will personal training sessions restart?

  • Training sessions are currently available. Expiration dates on existing sessions will be extended accordingly.
  • Billing will resume on a case by case based on initial agreements. Please contact your Fitness Director to make arrangements.

Can I use the Steam Room, Sauna, Pool?

  • During Phase 1, all wet areas are closed for use due to proximity issues.

Can I use the locker room?

  • All lockers will be closed during Phase 1. We recommend coming to the gym already changed. There is currently no access to the normal changing areas.
  • Showers will be closed during this phase. Access to the bathroom and sinks will still be available.

What will the temporary hours be during phase 1?

  • Mon- Thurs: 6:00 am - 9:30pm
  • Friday: 6:00 am - 8:00 pm
  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 am - 6:00pm
